By default this opens with the text object window open - if you hit play it will be sluggish, simply clicking elsewhere or on the xpresso tag will speed it up.
The userdata is on the null
Drag object here.
All marks/waypoints have to be added to this list. - the heirachy just renames them.
Loop sequence Two output fields.
Speed is 1 = 1 second.
Speed set to 2 would be 2 waypoints a second.
Speed .5 would be 2 seconds to one waypoint.
Instead of a target object select a sequence of objects to cycle through.
The step is how many waypoints per iteration.
1 means it will change everytime.
Place effector in same heirachy and change the deformation type to object. Now you can use effectors to add secondary motion to the objects.
The iteration objects are in this null.
Mota can create simple looping motion with noise and linear input.
Select an axis, or all three. Select noise type.
How many jumps per/sec. Length of loop.
Height of noise. Change flow of noise.
Distance covered during loop time. Additive distance instead of loop.
0% is full noise 100% is full looper.
Full spline control - load presets to make perfectly looping back and forth motion.
Output - choose set driver / set driven to make the noise driven other attributes in C4D.
Put Mota on a Random effector to create complex looping motions.

To get going you’ll want to put the muw_july_2.lib4d folder into your preset library.
1) Copy the mud_july_15.lib4d file.
2) In C4D open the Content Browser.
3) In the Presets library - right click any folder and select
- Show in Finder / or
- Show in Explorer
4) Paste the file and restart C4D.
Now you can just open up the Content Browser select the folder we pasted and you can see the MUW icons.
Wayward and Underwood have objects with them, Mota can be added to a selection or if nothing is selected is will attach to a null. Click the little black arrow next to Loop Motion and click load preset > Gauss. (perfect loop)
First mini update -
Separated the XYZ in Mota.
If you’re wanting to change it around more you can simply put the object in a null and rotate the null however you please.
The loop spline is timed to the loop time. If you want it to loop perfectly you’ll have to adjust the spline so that the input / output match.
